Terms and Conditions

Last updated: November 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to Looma Studio (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions outline the rules for using our website and working with us.
By accessing our site or starting a project, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please do not continue to use our website or services.

2. About Looma

Looma Studio is an inclusive design studio based in the UK, specialising in accessible website design, branding, and usability support.
Email: enquiry@loomastudio.co.uk
Website: loomastudio.co.uk

3. Services

We provide website design, development, accessibility reviews, UX support, and brand alignment.
Each project scope, timeline, and cost will be agreed upon in writing before work begins.

4. Payments

  • Project pricing is set out clearly before work starts.

  • A deposit may be required to confirm a project.

  • Remaining balances are due on completion unless otherwise stated.

  • Payments are accepted via bank transfer or other agreed methods.

5. Revisions & Feedback

We believe in collaboration. Each project includes a defined number of feedback rounds as outlined in your proposal.
Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges, always discussed beforehand.

6. Ownership & Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, ownership of all final design files and website code created by Looma transfers to you.

  • We retain the right to showcase non-confidential project work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

7. Accessibility & Compliance

We build to recognised accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA). However, web accessibility is ongoing — content updates or external integrations may affect compliance over time.

8. Third-Party Services

If your project includes third-party tools (e.g., CMS, hosting, plugins), their separate terms will apply. We are not responsible for downtime or changes beyond our control.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

Either party may end a project with reasonable notice.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work begins.

  • If you cancel mid-project, you’ll only pay for work completed up to that point.

10. Limitation of Liability

We take every care to deliver accurate, secure, and compliant work. However, we cannot be held liable for indirect or consequential losses, including downtime, lost data, or revenue.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The most recent version will always appear on this page.
